Recipes for Rooibos Tea, Champagne Punch

Rooibos is a sweet, refreshing and versatile tea that can be incorporated into iced teas, fruit juices and cocktails or even in your cooking and baking. The following are some exciting variations to your normal cup of Rooibos tea :

The Method:

  • 1litre strong, hot rooibos tea
  • 160g white sugar (200ml)
  • 1litre orange juice
  • 1litre pineapple juice
  • 1 bottle (750ml) sparkling wine
  • Crushed ice
  • 1 orange, thinly sliced

Dissolve sugar in rooibos tea. Allow to cool. Add orange and pineapple juices and chill. Add chilled sparkling wine and crushed ice and garnish with orange slices.
